Students of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, in particular students of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics, took part in the 10th Congress of the Ukrainian Student League (USL), which was held in Lviv and brought together active youth, representatives of student self-government, the public sector, business and government agencies from all over Ukraine. The event became a large-scale platform for discussing modern challenges of higher education, developing student leadership, youth initiatives and establishing cooperation between universities, the state and business.

For three days, participants participated in panel discussions, thematic discussions, and an open dialogue on the future of the student movement in Ukraine. One of the key goals of the Congress was to form a unified national position of students, develop the potential of young leaders, and create effective mechanisms for interaction between higher education institutions, public organizations, state institutions, and business.

For students of the faculty, participation in the Congress was an opportunity to gain new knowledge about current trends in the development of youth policy, student self-government, and digital communications, expand professional contacts, adopt successful practices from other educational institutions, and gain experience in teamwork and public interaction.

Such events are especially valuable for the development of the educational and professional programs “Digital Economy” and “Information Technologies in Business.” Students’ participation in all-Ukrainian youth forums contributes to the formation of leadership, communication and project competencies, the development of digital interaction skills, branding, teamwork and networking, which are important components of the training of modern specialists for the digital economy.

The experience gained and new ideas will be useful both for the personal and professional development of students, and for the further improvement of the educational environment, student initiatives and the popularization of the faculty’s educational programs.
