Student Yana Gabrylchuk is a prizewinner of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Papers on Finance
The research work of higher education students in the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, which is carried out at the Department of Financial Management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, plays an important role in the formation of highly qualified specialists of a new generation, capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions, generating innovative approaches to solving current problems in the field of finance, in accordance with modern trends.
On April 8-9, 2025, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Papers on Finance was held at the West Ukrainian National University. Its results confirmed the leading positions of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the development of student scientific work. In particular, the prizewinner of this competition was Yana Gabrylchuk (diploma of the III degree). A bachelor’s degree student studying in the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation” presented a scientific paper on the topic: “Development of Social Financing in Ukrainian Banks” for consideration by the Sectoral Competition Commission (scientific supervisor – Professor Iryna Tyazhkorob).
The work of the University student was among the winners among 105 scientific studies presented by 46 higher education institutions from many regions of Ukraine. Members of the Sectoral Competition Commission noted the relevance of the research topic. After all, the growth of economic and environmental problems, the strengthening of social inequality in Ukrainian society necessitate the restructuring of the Ukrainian economic system on the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility of business. Investing in projects aimed at preserving the environment, restoring infrastructure and developing the social sphere is not only an investment in the future, but also a necessary step to stabilize the socio-economic situation in the country today.
