Round table of the scientific circle “Finance and Business” on the topic “Restoration and development of the financial system in the face of modern challenges”

On May 12, 2026, a round table was held at the Department of Financial Management for higher education students of the OPP “Finance, Customs and Taxation” on the topic “Restoration and development of the financial system in the face of modern challenges”, organized by the student scientific circle “Finance and Business” under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Smolinska S.D.

The event brought together students to discuss topical issues of the functioning of the financial system of Ukraine in the context of martial law, economic instability and global transformations. During the round table, the participants analyzed the current state of the banking system, the problems of budget support, investment activity and financial security of the state. Particular attention was paid to the issues of digitalization of financial services, development of the financial market, the role of international support in stabilizing the economy of Ukraine, as well as the prospects for post-war recovery. Students presented their own scientific reports, analytical studies and practical proposals for strengthening the country’s financial stability.

The round table became a platform for constructive dialogue, exchange of ideas and search for effective solutions for the further development of the financial system of Ukraine in the face of modern challenges. 25 speakers took part in the round table, whose speeches aroused keen interest of the participants. An electronic collection of abstracts and materials of the round table will be published as a result of the event.
