Round table of the scientific circle “Finance and Business” on the topic “Harmonization of the concept of sustainable development and state financial policy”

On May 12, 2025, as part of the annual Science Festival at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, a student round table was held at the Department of Financial Management on the topic “Harmonization of the concept of sustainable development and state financial policy”, organized by the student scientific circle “Finance and Business” under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Smolinska S.D.
During the event, the speakers raised topical issues related to state financial policy in the context of sustainable development and its features in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The participants of the round table actively participated in the consideration of discussion issues and produced new ideas for solving urgent problems that exist in the field of state financial policy, in particular, budgetary, fiscal, monetary, and investment policy.
Those present discussed the possibilities of improving state financial policy from the perspective of sustainable development, taking into account the challenges that Ukrainian society is experiencing today.
23 speakers took part in the round table. Their speeches aroused keen interest among the participants – students and teachers of the department.
An electronic collection of abstracts and materials of the round table will be published as a result of the event.
