Protection of reports from the industrial pre-diploma practice of the masters in accounting and taxation of the educational and professional program “Accounting, analysis and financial investigations” within the specialty 071 “Accounting and taxation” of the field of knowledge “Management and administration”

On November 5, 2024, at the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business of the Ivan Franko National University of Ukraine, the defense of reports on the industrial pre-diploma practice of masters in accounting and taxation under the full-time educational and professional program “Accounting, Analysis and Financial Investigations” took place.

It is worth noting that the practical training of students of higher education is the first step to self-realization, one of the important types of educational work, during which they acquire practical skills and learn to make decisions independently in real industrial conditions. Practice is an integral part of the educational process of obtaining a higher education and is carried out with the aim of consolidating, deepening and expanding theoretical knowledge, using it when writing a qualifying master’s thesis and preparing for future work in a specialty.

For internships, masters chose enterprises of various forms of ownership and types of activity, DSE institutions, auditing firms, etc.
Commission for the protection of reports (acting head of the department, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor S. V. Pryimak, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Shot A.P. Honcharuk S.M.) listened to the applicants who reported on the results of the pre-diploma practice, the materials collected for writing the qualification paper and the experience gained during the practice.

In the reports on pre-diploma practice, the awardees highlighted and analyzed modern problems of accounting, reporting, taxation, internal control and auditing, and proposed their own ways of solving them.

Digitization, digitalization of accounting and analytical work and implementation of control requires deep and comprehensive knowledge and skills, innovative solutions from modern specialists. Reviews in practice diaries indicate that today the applicants are able to think creatively and solve complex tasks facing the economy of the country and a specific business entity in particular.
Therefore, the protection of reports and the analysis of the results of the protection showed a high level of knowledge of the applicants, their professional readiness for accounting, analytical and control activities and the ability to compete in the modern labor market.
