PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ACCOUNTANTS, ANALYSIS AND FINANCIAL INVESTIGATIONS AT THE BANK BRANCH

In the framework of familiarization with the peculiarities of the profession of a bank employee and the skills of conducting accounting and banking activities, the teachers of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control, Lyudmila Petryshyn and Natalya Loboda, organized a training workshop on November 8, 2024 in the branch of JSC “A-bank” for students of higher education. “Accounting, analysis and financial investigations” of the first and third courses (groups UFO-11c and UFO-31c).
During the educational training, which was conducted by specialists of JSC “A-bank”: regional director Dmytro Stupnytskyi and department head Victoria Barabash, students of higher education had the opportunity to learn about:
– organization of work and features of the bank’s main operations,
– principles of service to individuals and legal entities,
– key principles of interaction with clients, the history of the bank and its innovative products,
– cash register operation.


In addition, the head of the department shared her own experience of success in the profession. They also discussed future prospects and opportunities for internships and practice.
With great interest, students tried, under the supervision of bank employees, to perform operations related to opening a bank card for individuals and legal entities. Groupmates and teachers acted as clients of the bank. The best “trainees” were awarded gifts.


The educational training provided an opportunity for higher education graduates – future specialists in the field of accounting and taxation to understand how to apply the acquired knowledge in practice and build a successful career. Advice from experienced specialists, direct interaction with practicing professionals, the opportunity to ask any questions – all this made the meeting extremely useful.


The teaching staff of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv express their sincere gratitude to the employees of the bank for a meaningful and fulfilling meeting and the opportunity to form vectors of professional self-determination among students. Such events will contribute to the establishment of close ties between the department and business.
