Practical integration of the content of the EP “Public management and administration” disciplines with current events
On September 30, 2025, students of the higher education program “Public Management and Administration” (group UFP-42), together with the teachers of the Department of Economics and Public Administration (Prof. H. Kaplenko, I. Bazarko) joined the online forum “Monitoring the fulfillment of the conditions of the IMF program and EU assistance within the framework of the Ukraine Facility”.
The event was held as part of the implementation of the educational disciplines “Information and analytical activity in public administration” and “Strategising technologies in public administration”, which are provided in the fourth year of bachelor’s training.
✅During the event, participants had the opportunity to:
- to analyse the progress of implementation of structural reforms, in particular in terms of interaction with the IMF and the EU;
- familiarise yourself with the analytical approaches of leading Ukrainian research centres (DiXi Group, Centre for Economic Strategy, IED, Institute of Analytics and Advocacy);
- to hear the opinions of representatives of the Verkhovna Rada, the National Bank of Ukraine and the financial sector regarding the prospects of the Ukrainian capital market;
- to join the discussion of the policy of macro-financial stabilization in the conditions of war and the progress of Ukraine’s European integration.
For students, it was a unique opportunity to see the application of strategic analysis, policy analytics and advocacy practices in a real expert environment.
📌 Such practical integrations of the content of the disciplines with current events ensure the development of professional competencies of the applicants, form analytical thinking and critical perception of public policy, which is an important component of modern training of specialists in the field of public administration.
