Participation of the Faculty of Public Administration and Business Management in the Educators Track Program: A Series of Digital Skills Lectures by Genesis
In the contemporary educational environment, enhancing the professional competencies of faculty members is a key factor in ensuring the quality of the learning process. Within this paradigm, Associate Professors of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Olena Herasymenko and Olena Reshota, participated in the Educators Track Program, a series of digital skills lectures organized by Genesis. This program is designed to develop pedagogical, communication, and digital competencies of educators through the integration of modern educational technologies (EdTech) and effective teaching methodologies.
The program covered a comprehensive set of thematic areas encompassing both technological and methodological aspects of educational practice: digital tools and instructional design methodologies; integration of artificial intelligence into the learning process; principles of project management in academic settings; development and delivery of effective presentations; digital security and information risk management; planning of academic activities using digital technologies; and development of written and communication competencies in the context of contemporary education.
As a result of their participation, the faculty members received internationally recognized certificates confirming their mastery of modern teaching methodologies and technologies. The acquired competencies are intended for further application in the educational process to enhance the quality of teaching practices, including: implementation of advanced digital tools in instruction and assessment; expanded use of artificial intelligence in academic activities; improvement of communication and presentation skills; strengthening practical student training in project management and digital security; and updating educational program content in accordance with international trends in digital education.
Thus, participation in the Educators Track Program lays the foundation for the innovative development of educational practices and enhances the competitiveness of graduates in the contemporary labor market, promoting the integration of academic standards with current technological trends in education.
