Participation of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management in the “EU Career Day 2024”

From October 15 to 17, 2024, a three-day large-scale project, “EU Career Day 2024,” was held at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The event was organized by the EU Information Centre and the Career Development and Business Cooperation Department of Ivan Franko National University. The event was made possible through the comprehensive support of the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Associate Professor Andriy Stasyshyn.

The “EU Career Day 2024” featured participation from the head of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Professor Hanna Komarnytska, the faculty members of the department, and students from the educational and professional program in “Public Administration and Business Management.”

During the event, faculty and students took part in a Job Fair, where they had the opportunity to learn about employer companies, receive consultations from representatives of commercial firms and non-governmental organizations, explore a list of real job vacancies, participate in prize draws, join online presentations of career opportunities from project partners, and attend training sessions on the following topics:

– “Everything You Need to Know Before an Interview and a Little More” by the general partner of the EU Career Day, KPMG (Trainer: Kateryna Polishchuk, Senior Recruitment Specialist at KPMG);

– “Psychological Resilience” (Trainer: Svitlana Nezabytovska, Head of the Psychological Service at Ivan Franko National University);

– “A Successful Employee in the New Reality: Challenges and Opportunities” (Trainer: Halyna Datsiv, Vice President of Learning and Development at SoftServe).

The “EU Career Day” is an event that provides unlimited opportunities for participants to outline paths for future professional development and career prospects based on the information received, relevant skills, and networking with potential employers.
