Participation of teachers of the Department of Financial Management in the implementation of the Jean Monet Module “Creative Industries: European Experience (EUCREAT)”

From October 7 to October 18, 2024, at the Faculty of Culture and Arts, on the initiative of the Department of Sociocultural Management, as part of the project “Creative Industries: European Experience (EUCREAT)”, which is implemented with the support of the European Union as part of the Jean Monet Module of the “Erasmus+” program, there was the 3rd Autumn School was held, which was the logical conclusion of the previous two.
The teachers of the Department of Financial Management – associate professors Sofia Smolinska and Olga Sych – will join the school. Thus, on October 8, Olga Sych’s lecture “Creation of revitalized zones for the development of sectors of creative industries” was held. The lecture was followed by a hands-on session with the students on how to create a revitalized space and use the information they will be able to apply in the future when working in the creative sector.
On October 17, the associate professor of the Department of Financial Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Ukraine, Sofia Smolinska, gave a lecture on the use of EU experience in modern trends in the development of the creative sector of Ukraine in wartime conditions. Creative industries were considered in the context of drivers of economic development in post-war Ukraine.
Participation in international educational projects, such as the Jean Monet Modules of the “Erasmus+” program, allows teachers to improve their qualifications, and school participants to gain knowledge and experience for the implementation of their own creative projects in the future.
