On February 19, 2026, the Academic Integrity Forum 2026 took place, attended by representatives of the teaching staff of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management – Associate Professor Olena Herasymenko and Associate Professor Olena Reshota.

The event’s program covered a wide range of current issues. Key attention was paid to the analysis of the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Academic Integrity”, signed by the President of Ukraine on January 29, 2026, and the study of practical mechanisms for its implementation in educational institutions of various levels. Issues of ethics, responsibility, and the legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process were also raised, particularly in the context of preventing plagiarism and manipulations in academic texts.

In addition to the key topics, a number of other pressing issues were highlighted within the Forum, in particular, the specifics of implementing the principles of open science in legal research, taking into account the experience of the United Kingdom. Participants paid significant attention to the transformation of academic integrity in the era of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the need to shift from control tools to rethinking the learning paradigm itself.

The discussion vector also covered the impact of academic integrity on the formation of professional ethics in the business environment and the implementation of transparency principles in the management activities of heads of educational institutions. Systematic approaches to integrating integrity standards into the educational space, supported by practical cases from the first Ukrainian Integrity Hub, were considered separately.

Participation in the Forum contributed to the development of teachers’ competencies in the field of ethics in education, critical understanding of information, and analysis of legislative documents on academic integrity. As a result of completing the professional development program, Associate Professors Olena Herasymenko and Olena Reshota received professional development certificates.

We express our gratitude to the organizers – the Vinnytsia Technical Vocational College and the NGO “Prohresylni” for the high level of the event’s implementation and the opportunity provided to join the discussion of key aspects of ensuring academic integrity in educational activities.
