European Cyber Security Month is an annual campaign that promotes cyber security awareness and best practices online. Every October, hundreds of events take place across Europe, including conferences, seminars, trainings, webinars, presentations and more, to educate the public about online threats and the importance of digital security.
At the same time, we are also developing and improving our digital skills. Achieving the SDGs in each context requires creative approaches, know-how, technology and financial resources, developed skills and abilities.

Defined the concepts of confidentiality and integrity, and categories related to them, the importance of elements of critical infrastructure in cyber security. Considered what DDoS attacks are and how they limit user access to information systems. We analyzed the operational risk management process and its three key elements: asset, vulnerability and threat. The main points related to the identification of risks in cyber security and the importance of password quality were revealed. The importance of identifying, assessing and prioritizing risks for the organization’s activities is considered.
Understanding and protecting against social engineering, a growing trend in which fraudsters use impersonation, phishing emails or fake offers. Practical cases of risk assessment in the field of cyber security were discussed: phishing attacks, software vulnerabilities, cyber attacks on network infrastructure. The means of physical, technical, and administrative security control were analyzed.
Why is the cyber security of the state important? What attacks did Ukraine experience during the war?
The event was held in the context of popularizing cyber security among citizens and organizations and providing information about Internet security by conducting educational events and sharing best practices.
