Open lecture by the professor of the Department of Financial Management Nazarkevych I. B. on the topic “Modern payment technologies in the market of financial services”

On November 13, 2024, an open lecture by Professor of the Department of Financial Management Nazarkevych Ihor on the academic discipline “Digitalization in Finance” on the topic “Modern Payment Technologies in the Financial Services Market” was held for applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the Special Educational Service “Finance, Customs and Taxation”.

The lecture is devoted to the analysis of modern trends in the field of payment technologies and their impact on the development of the global and Ukrainian financial services markets. During the lecture, various types of payment systems, their principles of operation, advantages and disadvantages, and features of acquiring were considered. Particular attention was paid to the impact of digital technologies, such as blockchain and mobile payments, on the transformation of traditional financial instruments.

In general, the lecture included a theoretical part, which considered the basic concepts and principles of the functioning of payment technologies, as well as a practical part, which analyzed specific examples and cases.
