Open lecture by associate professor of the Department of Financial Management Y. M. Grynchyshyn on the topic “Motivation and responsibility in budgeting”

On November 13, 2024, an open lecture by Yaroslav Mykolayovych Grynchyshyn, associate professor of the Department of Financial Management, from the academic discipline “Budgeting the activities of business entities” on the topic “Motivation and responsibility in budgeting” was held for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education OP “Finance, Customs and Tax business” and “Financial management”.
The lecture considered the motivational function of budgeting, its connection with other functions, presented a comparison of the traditional motivation system and the system based on budgeting, and outlined the principles of forming an effective system of personnel incentives. The mechanism of formation of the incentive system for the fulfillment of budget indicators for various centers of financial responsibility is revealed. Special attention was paid to the use of key performance indicators for motivation.
In general, the content of the presented lecture material has practical value and contributes to the development of professional competences of students, the formation of practical skills and the achievement of relevant program learning outcomes.
