Non-Formal Education in the Training of Higher Education Applicants under the Educational and Professional Program “Public Administration and Business Management”
Non-formal education in the training of higher education applicants under the educational and professional program “Public Administration and Business Management” is a key factor in the development of modern managerial competencies. In the context of globalization, digitalization of management processes, and the implementation of innovations, systematic involvement of students in non-formal education programs facilitates the integration of relevant knowledge and best practices into professional training. Studies demonstrate that participation in training programs, forums, webinars, and certification courses contributes to the development of strategic thinking, communication competencies, leadership qualities, and the ability to make effective managerial decisions.
Students pursuing the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education under the educational and professional program “Public Administration and Business Management” are systematically involved in non-formal education activities integrated into the content of specific academic disciplines, including: “Civil Society”, “Communications in Public Administration”, “Introduction to the Profession. Theory and History of Governance”, among others. As part of the educational process, students complete specialized educational series on the “Diia. Digital Education” platform and participate in professional webinars, forums, and training sessions aimed at deepening applied knowledge and developing key competencies in the field of public administration. Participation in these activities is confirmed by the issuance of relevant certificates, which attest to the acquisition of additional knowledge, skills, and abilities that complement formal education and enhance their level of professional mobility.
Involvement in non-formal education activities provides students with practical experience, facilitates their familiarity with advanced practices of public administration and business management, and contributes to enhancing their competitiveness in the modern labor market. Participation in these educational initiatives, implemented with the support of civil society organizations, professional associations, business alliances, and international projects, fosters professional ethics, responsibility, and skills in lifelong learning and adaptation to the challenges arising from the need to ensure sustainable development and the effective functioning of organizational structures in the public administration and business sectors.
