Scientific seminar with the participation of higher education students on the topic: “Analytical and digital solutions for increasing the efficiency of economic processes”

On April 8, 2026, a scientific seminar on the topic “Analytical and digital solutions for increasing the efficiency of economic processes” was held at the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics with the participation of higher education students of the bachelor’s level of the specialty “Information Technologies in Business” and the master’s level of the specialty “Digital Economy”.

Within the framework of the seminar, applicants presented the results of their research and practical developments, which reflected the application of digital technologies in solving economic and management problems.

In their works, the participants investigated various aspects of digitalization and optimization of business processes. The efficiency of enterprises was assessed, the risks of financial and operational processes were analyzed, and economic scenarios were modeled. A significant part of the projects concerned the application of innovative solutions, including digital platforms, startups, and online communication tools, which contributed to increasing the efficiency of economic entities.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department actively participated in the discussion of the results, who took part in the professional discussion, provided recommendations for improving research, and noted the relevance of the selected topics. Such interaction contributes to the deepening of analytical approaches and the development of critical thinking among applicants.

The research results showed that modern digital technologies can be integrated into economic practice to ensure transparency of processes, increase their manageability and validity of management decisions.

The seminar allowed for a comprehensive assessment of the practical significance of the presented developments, demonstrated the application of theoretical knowledge in practical activities and outlined areas of further scientific research, emphasizing the importance of training specialists capable of combining analytical thinking with practical digital competencies.
