Scientific seminar: “MODERN BUSINESS ANALYTICS TOOLS FOR OPTIMIZING THE ACTIVITIES OF BUSINESS ENTITIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT”
On October 30, 2024, at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, organized by OKSANA VASKIV and IRYNA BORSHCHUK, a scientific seminar on the topic “Modern tools of business analytics for optimizing the activities of economic entities in conditions of a competitive environment”, the participants of which were teachers of the department and students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, specialty 051 “Economics” OP “Information technologies in business”.
In modern conditions of automation and data visualization, the use of the latest information and analytical tools is extremely relevant for the effective functioning of all business processes of economic entities. The subject of discussion during the scientific seminar was the peculiarities of the use of information technologies in the analysis of market processes of Ukrainian companies, as well as the expediency and necessity of using modern business analytics tools to optimize activities in a competitive market environment, in particular Big Data, BI systems, cloud computing and artificial intelligence intelligence
The presented topics of the reports interested and provoked a discussion of the participants of the scientific seminar, both teachers of the department and students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education, specialty 051 “Economics” ЕP “Information technologies in business”.
