Scientific achievements of students of higher education under the ЕP “Information technologies in business”

The research work of students is a continuation and deepening of the educational process and the most important means of improving the quality of training of specialists in the field of economics, who possess economic and mathematical tools for modeling and analyzing business processes, have a high awareness of the digitalization of the economy and the course of socio-economic processes in IT industry. Involvement of students in scientific and research work allows to reveal their creative potential and to form skills necessary for generating proposals for real solutions to business problems.

Student scientific research is conducted within the scientific topic of the department “Optimization of management of socio-economic processes with the use of information technologies” under the guidance of teachers.

Students present the results of their research at meetings of the scientific circle (scientific seminar of the department), all-Ukrainian and international conferences, publish their own scientific works in domestic and foreign publications.

The best students represent the department at various Olympiads and competitions of scientific works.

According to the results of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in the specialty “Information systems and technologies” in 2023/2024 n.y. became 3rd-4th year bachelors and 1st year master’s students. Diplomas of various degrees were awarded to Anna KOZYK (UFE-31s), Victoria KOZEREMA (UFE-41s), Bohdan BALUKH (UFE-11s). Professor Iryna SHEVCHUK, associate professors Bohdan DEPUTAT and Anna ZADOROZHNA were thanked for the preparation of the winners.

Certificates of the winners of the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty “Economics” and the Olympiad “Economic Cybernetics” were awarded to Sofya TIMCHYSHYN (1st place), Iryna MYKHALCHYSHYN (2nd place) and Nazariya GNATIVA (3rd place).

Students of the department have repeatedly received the Academic Scholarship named after the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred (specialty “Economics”) – Victoria Kozerema (2023).
