Scientific meeting of the subsection “Digital Economy, Business Analytics and Modeling” within the framework of the University’s Reporting Scientific Conference for 2025.
On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics held a meeting of the subsection “Digital Economy, Business Analytics and Modeling” within the framework of the Reporting Scientific Conference of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv for 2025, in which the teaching staff of the department participated.
The event was opened by the head of the department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Iryna SHEVCHUK, who in her speech summarized the main results of the team’s activities for the previous year and outlined the following tasks for 2026. She emphasized the need for further development of research work, expansion of cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign scientific institutions, as well as intensification of publication activities in domestic and international scientific publications. Separate attention was paid to the implementation of departmental research topics, participation in scientific events of various levels and scientific research work of students (participation in conferences, joint publications with teachers, work of scientific student circles, etc.).
At the meeting of the subsection, the teachers of the department presented the following reports:

- Prof. Shevchuk I. B., Assoc. Prof. Deputat B. Ya. Compositional architecture of the enterprise: API-oriented approach to integrating AI-flows into strategic IT platforms.
- Assoc. Prof. Zadorozhna A. V. Cybersecurity and IT liability insurance: Ukrainian and international experience.
- Assoc. Prof. Romanych I. B. Methodology of intellectual management of a complex economic system.
- Senior lecturer Sytnyk V. Yu. Digital technologies in the financial security management system of an enterprise.
- Assoc. Prof. Yarema O. R. Startups as a driving force of the digital economy: a review of successful startups and challenges in Ukrainian realities.
During the meeting, topical issues of economic development and problems of using information technologies in various fields of activity were raised. Discussion of the reports showed the interest of those present and the practical significance of the topics raised. The materials of the meeting will be published in the collection of materials of the reporting conference of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv for 2025.
