September 20, 2024 with the participation of students of the UFE-11s group of the educational program “Information Technologies in Business” and teachers of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics Iryna SHEVCHUK, Oksana VASKIV and Anna ZADOROZHNA held a meeting on the topic “International academic mobility of students under the Erasmus+ programs”.

The speaker was the 4th-year student Anna KOZYK (group UFE-41c), who shared her experience of academic mobility under the Erasmus+ programs and the professional development opportunities that this program provides to students of higher education.

In 2022/2023 she studied under the Erasmus+ program at the University of Tuccia (Italy), and in the fall semester of 2024/2025 will study there again under another Erasmus+ program.

The meeting aroused great interest among those seeking higher education, during which the speaker was asked many organizational and educational questions: what requirements must be met by candidates for the Erasmus+ program scholarship competition, the amount of the monthly academic mobility scholarship, conditions and term stay under the program, a list of courses for drawing up an individual study plan, etc. Special emphasis was placed on the enrollment procedure and it was emphasized that the final decision on acceptance or rejection of nominated candidates is made by the host party.

In addition, Anna focused on motivational issues in detail – why is it important to study abroad, what experience a student gets and what skills he can acquire.

We hope that such a meeting will encourage students to participate in international academic mobility programs.
