On March 23, 2021, Iryna Yasinovska,  Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management, conducted a lecture with the involvement of a practitioner in the discipline “Financial Analysis” for fourth-year full-time students of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation” “Analysis of the creditworthiness of the enterprise.”

The purpose of the lecture: to acquaint students with the method of assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers-legal entities and to deepen their knowledge about the essence of the creditworthiness of the enterprise.

Tetyana Slominska, Head of the FUIB Medium Corporate Client Analysis Department, told the students about the method of assessing the creditworthiness of legal entities. She emphasized the students’ attention to the fact that banks assess the creditworthiness of enterprises, taking into account the data of their financial statements, but considerable attention is paid to other factors, in particular, the study of their credit history, business reputation.

The lecture was lively, students were active, curiously asked questions to the bank employee about the peculiarities of providing bank loans to legal entities, the dynamics of changes in lending, the availability of loans for domestic enterprises and took an active part in the discussion.

The lecturer stressed the importance of studying this topic for further use of the acquired knowledge in the practice of banking institutions.
