Educational meeting of students of the specialty “Public Management and Administration” with the representative of the Lviv IT Cluster Khrystyna Kulyk
📅 On October 29, 2025, a meeting of first-year students of speciality 281 “Public Management and Administration” of the Department of Economics and Public Administration took place with Khrystyna Kulyk, manager of educational projects of the Lviv IT Cluster – the largest business association of technology companies in Western Ukraine.
During the meeting, Khrystyna Kulyk presented the IT Cluster’s areas of activity and educational initiatives implemented jointly with universities, and also spoke about key trends in the development of the information technology industry, human resources management, and digital competencies, which are becoming integral components of the professional growth of future managers.
Particular attention was paid to the cooperation of the Department of Economics and Public Administration with the Lviv IT Cluster within the educational program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”, which is focused on training a new generation of specialists – managers capable of working effectively at the intersection of the public sector, business, and the technological environment.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- development of leadership, communication and critical thinking skills in students;
- the role of digital technologies in the personnel management system;
- internship opportunities and student participation in joint projects of the IT Cluster and the University;
- the importance of building partnerships between education, business and public authorities.
The guarantor of the educational program, Assoc. Prof. Oksana Pikulyk, noted that such meetings contribute to the formation of practice-oriented thinking, career motivation and understanding of modern management challenges in students. And the cooperation of the department with the Lviv IT Cluster is an example of effective interaction of the University with employers, which corresponds to the principles of the National Qualifications Framework and the European Higher Education Area.
The event confirmed the department’s desire to integrate current IT industry trends, innovative approaches to personnel management, and best practices in the interaction of education and business into the educational process.
