Maria Kormylo, a Master’s student of the educational and professional program “Public Administration and Business Management,” has won the Denys Monastyrskyi All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in the field of knowledge 28 “Public Administration and Management.”

On June 12, 2025, Maria Kormylo, a student pursuing the second (Master’s) level of higher education in the educational and professional program “Public Administration and Business Management” at the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Faculty of Financial Management and Business, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, was awarded 1st place in the Denys Monastyrskyi All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in the field of knowledge 28 “Public Administration and Management.”

Maria’s scientific paper titled “Leadership in Student Self-Governance as the Foundation of the Managerial Competence of a Future Leader” is based on her practical experience of active participation in student self-governance, where she acted as an initiator, coordinator, and leader of several projects.

The research was conducted under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Olena Reshota, PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Faculty of Financial Management and Business, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

The All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition was held at Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law. The competition winner, Maria Kormylo, publicly presented her scientific research at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the memory of Denys Monastyrskyi, based on the results of the competition in the field of knowledge 28 “Public Administration and Management.”
