Introducing School Students to the Educational Program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”

During the 2025-2026 academic year, students of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv – Maksym Heryak, Ostap Burynskyi, Anna-Mariia Harkava, Yuliia Holota, Viktoriia Melnyk, and Diana Papirnyk – conducted career guidance visits to secondary schools in the city of Lviv and the surrounding region. The aim of these visits was to provide students with detailed information about higher education opportunities in the D2 specialty “Finance, Banking, Insurance and the Stock Market” and, in particular, the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, offered by the Department of Financial Management.

During these career guidance events, school students had the opportunity not only to explore the world of finance and business but also to experience what it is like to be real entrepreneurs. Through an interactive business simulation, participants developed their own business ideas, designed business concepts, assessed financial opportunities, and made managerial decisions. This hands-on activity allowed them to see how financial knowledge is applied in practice and how business ideas are transformed into viable projects.

Such meetings help young people discover new opportunities, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and take their first steps toward a future career.
