Internal academic mobility as a tool for the quality of education at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management

From April 20 to 24, 2026, students of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv – Anastasia Kholost, Myroslava Kozik, Yana Denysiuk (OP “Finance, Customs and Taxation”) and Valeriya Zubach (OP “Information Technologies in Business”) – joined the internal academic mobility program, which is one of the key areas of development of the modern educational environment of the University. As part of this initiative, the students became participants in an exchange with the Faculty of Economics of Uzhhorod National University.

A few days in Uzhhorod turned into a real intellectual and professional upgrade for the participants – a space of new ideas, opportunities and inspiration.

The exchange program was rich and dynamic. Students immersed themselves in the educational environment of another university: they attended classes, got acquainted with the organization of the educational process, and talked with teachers and the administration of the Faculty of Economics. This experience allowed them not only to see different approaches to learning, but also to feel part of the broader academic ecosystem of Ukraine – open, mobile, and development-oriented.

An important element of the program was a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Uzhhorod National University, Vitaliy Gerzanych. In the format of an open dialogue, issues of student development, prospects for interuniversity cooperation, and the role of youth in shaping modern education were discussed.

Special attention was paid to student self-government and youth initiatives. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants exchanged experiences, presented implemented projects, and generated new ideas. It is such meetings that form leadership skills, a culture of partnership, and a willingness to change.

A special highlight was the excursion to the international company Jabil. The students had the opportunity to see how modern high-tech production functions, get acquainted with business processes and gain valuable understanding of the requirements of the labor market in a global environment.

This exchange has become much more than a short-term academic trip. It is an experience that forms a modern specialist – open to new things, able to think critically, work effectively in a team and adapt to the challenges of a dynamic world.
