Interactive meeting with representatives of the YouVenture educational platform about startups and youth entrepreneurship

📅 On February 24, 2025, an interactive meeting of higher education students of the OPP “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics” with representatives of the YouVenture educational platform about startups and youth entrepreneurship took place at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management.

🔹 YouVenture is an innovative youth entrepreneurship development platform whose team helps young people develop entrepreneurial skills, attract investment, and build their own businesses.

Main issues discussed during the meeting:

✅ What is a startup and how does it change the market??

✅ How to find a unique idea and turn it into a successful project?

✅ What are the first steps you should take to start your own business?

📌 In addition to considering the theoretical aspects of working with startups, participants had the opportunity to take part in an interactive game, where they worked in teams to develop their own startup ideas and received practical tools for their implementation.

🎯 The knowledge and practical experience gained will be especially useful for students when studying the disciplines “Object-Oriented Programming” (lecturer – Prof. Iryna SHEVCHUK) and “IT Law” (lecturer – Assoc. Prof. Oleg YAREMA). In particular, they understood how modern software solutions can be used in startups, how programmers can be involved in the development of innovative business models, as well as what legal aspects need to be considered when creating and registering a startup. The lecture helped students form an understanding of digital tools for business, the principles of intellectual property protection, and consider programming not only as a technical process, but also as a strategic element in the development of startups. The applicants also gained important skills in teamwork and presentation of their ideas, which are necessary in modern IT business.
