Guest lecture by the Operations Director of the joint venture “ROSAN” Mr. Oleksandr VAULIN on the topic “Intelligent management of business processes in logistics” for masters of the educational program “Digital Economy”

As part of the cooperation of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics with employers and stakeholders of the “Digital Economy” educational program, within the framework of the signed Cooperation Agreement between the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Joint Ukrainian-Canadian Enterprise “ROSAN”, a guest lecture by the company’s Operations Director, Mr. Oleksandr VAULIN, was held offline for first-year master’s students of the “Digital Economy” educational program on the topic “Intelligent Management of Business Processes in Logistics”.

The lecture was given within the curriculum of the educational component “Anti-crisis and intelligent management” (lecturer – Associate Professor Igor ROMANICH).

During the lecture, master’s students deepened their knowledge of Supply chain diversification processes, Modern instruments for decision-making based on data-analysis, Modern solutions for logistics digitalization.

The lecturer supported theoretical statements with practical cases from the company’s activities, demonstrated modern analytical digital tools for making informed management decisions in the process of constructing a complex multi-stage chain of delivery of international postal items from abroad, and showed how digital intelligent technologies improve the quality of logistics process management and reduce the risks of errors in the management of stochastic subsystems that make up the overall logistics system of the enterprise.

The Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics, higher education students express their sincere gratitude to Oleksandr VAULIN for the practically oriented lecture, its interesting content, the case study that accompanied the lecture, and the promotion of the development of practical skills, abilities, and competencies of masters in an applied business environment.
