Guest lecture by the head of the business analytics department of MIST INTERNATIONAL, Ms. Ruslana YATSYSHYN, on the topic “Mathematical methods and models for assessing the system characteristics of an enterprise” for masters of the educational program “Digital Economy”

As part of the cooperation between the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics with employers and stakeholders of the Digital Economy educational program, within the framework of the signed Cooperation Agreement between the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and LLC “MIST INTERNATIONAL”, a guest lecture by the Head of the Business Analytics Department, Ms. Ruslana YATSYSHYN, was held offline for first-year master’s students of the Digital Economy educational program on the topic “Mathematical methods and models for assessing the system characteristics of an enterprise: agility, viability, reliability, risk, tension, inertia.”

The lecture was given within the curriculum of the educational component “Mathematical Methods and Models of Market Economy” (lecturer – Associate Professor Igor ROMANICH).

During the lecture, master’s students deepened their knowledge of mathematical models for forecasting marginality (linear multiple regression as a forecasting tool, seasonality models in logistics, correlation analysis, optimization models), as well as basic tools, techniques and BI tools for modeling system characteristics and marginality, Power BI as a platform for monitoring development and inertia.

The lecturer demonstrated modern analytical tools for modeling market economy processes and business analysis, shared practical cases from the company’s activities and clearly showed how digital technologies increase the accuracy of analysis and calculations of economic costs, forecasting future business trends, and also help in making informed management decisions.

The Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics, higher education students express their sincere gratitude to Ruslana YATSYSHYN for an interesting, meaningful and practically oriented lecture, which contributed to the development of the abilities and competencies of masters and their practical skills in the field of modeling market processes in the digital economy.
