Guest lecture by Lyubov ZHAROVA, Doctor of Economics, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Economics and Humanities (Bielsko-Biala, Poland) on the topic “CIRCULAR ECONOMY AS A MACROECONOMIC GROWTH MODEL” for masters of the Digital Economy program
On April 9, 2026, a guest lecture by the Doctor of Economics, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Economics and Humanities (Bielsko-Biala, Poland), Professor of the Kyiv-Mohyla School of Professional and Continuing Education of NaUKMA Lyubov ZHAROVYA, was held at the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics for masters of the educational program “Digital Economy” on the topic “Circular Economy as a Macroeconomic Growth Model”.
The lecture was given online as part of the study of the educational component “Macroeconomic Analysis” (lecturer – Associate Professor Iryna BORSCHUK).
The event was held in English, which contributed to the development of students’ professional competence and their involvement in the international academic environment.
The lecture considered modern approaches to the formation of a circular economy as a model of sustainable development, its role in ensuring economic growth, as well as tools for implementing circular practices at the macro level. Special attention was paid to the challenges and opportunities of economic transformation in the context of global change.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions, join the discussion, and gain practical insights into the application of circular economy principles in the current context of digital transformation.
