Guest meeting-lecture with a specialist-practitioner for students of the fourth year of study of the first (bachelor) level of education of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs”

October 25, 2024 as part of the study of the educational component “Financial Compliance“ (lecturer – associate professor of the Department of Financial Management Vira Kruhlyakova) for students of higher education in the fourth year of the first (bachelor`s) level of education OP “Finance, Customs and Taxation” (specialty 072 “Finance, banking, insurance and stock market”), a guest meeting-lecture was held with Alina Bondaruk, a specialist-practitioner – consultant for work with agribusiness clients of PJSCB “Bank Lviv”, on the topic “Compliance and financial monitoring in the bank”.

At the beginning of the meeting, the listeners familiarized themselves with the management structure of PJSCB “Bank Lviv”, learned about the value of the reputation of a reliable and transparent financial institution, to preserve which the Bank implemented an effective compliance risk management system.

The speaker focused special attention on the Code of Corporate Ethics, which outlines the basic principles of behavior and social interaction of the Bank’s employees. The principles enshrined in the Code of Ethics are mandatory for all employees.

Those present also learned that PJSCB “Bank Lviv”is a banking institution that, in accordance with the CRS General Reporting Standard, is obliged to carry out due diligence of financial accounts, ensuring the implementation of primary financial monitoring.

The winners took an active part in the discussion and received comprehensive answers to all the questions that interested them.

Such meetings contribute to the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the formation of students’ skills in applying the principles of compliance in practice, which makes it possible to effectively learn hard skills from the educational component “Financial Compliance”.
