Guest meeting-lecture with a specialist-practitioner for students of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs”

On October 25, 2024, a guest meeting-lecture was held for higher education students of the OPP “Finance, Customs and Taxation” (specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market”) with a practicing specialist – consultant for work with agribusiness clients of JSC JSCB “Bank Lviv” Alina Bondaruk, on the topic “Compliance and Financial Monitoring in the Bank”.

At the beginning of the meeting, the audience got acquainted with the management structure of JSC JSCB “Bank Lviv”, learned about the value of the reputation of a reliable and transparent financial institution, to preserve which the Bank has implemented an effective compliance risk management system.

The speaker focused particular attention on the Code of Corporate Ethics, which outlines the basic principles of behavior and social interaction of the Bank’s employees. The principles enshrined in the Code of Ethics are mandatory for all employees.

The attendees also learned that JSC JSCB “Bank Lviv” is a banking institution that, in accordance with the Common Reporting Standard CRS, is obliged to conduct due diligence on financial accounts, ensuring the implementation of primary financial monitoring.

Applicants actively participated in the discussion and received comprehensive answers to all questions that interested them.

Such meetings contribute to the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the formation of skills in applicants to apply compliance principles in practice.
