Guest meeting-lecture with a practitioner of JSC JSCB «Bank Lviv» for applicants of the educational and professional program «Finance, Customs and Taxation»

On October 3, 2025, as part of the educational process, applicants of the educational and professional program «Finance, Customs and Taxation» of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education in the specialty «Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market» had the opportunity to participate in a guest meeting-lecture with a practitioner – head of the branch of JSC JSCB «Bank Lviv» Anastasiia Baik.

During the meeting, the speaker shared valuable practical experience in the banking sector and spoke about the basic principles of the activities of various departments of the bank.

Particular attention was paid to issues of compliance and financial monitoring, which play a key role in ensuring transparency, reliability and ethics of banking operations. In particular, Anastasiia Baik introduced the applicants to modern approaches to organizing the compliance system and corporate ethics at Bank Lviv, emphasizing the importance of adhering to international standards and internal financial security policies.

In addition, the lecturer spoke about the employment opportunities for students in a banking institution, outlining the requirements for young specialists and career development prospects. She emphasized that the thorough preparation provided by the educational components of the program, in particular, the discipline «Financial Compliance», is extremely important for a successful start in the profession.

The meeting had significant practical and educational value, contributed to a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of banking activities and motivated the applicants to further develop their professional competencies in the field of finance.
