Excursion as part of the cultural, ideological and patriotic education of first (bachelor’s) level students of the OPP “Finance, Customs and Taxation” “Frank’s Paths” (to the 169th anniversary of Ivan Franko’s birth)
On October 8, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 169th anniversary of Ivan Franko, applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the UFF-16s group of the OPP “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” together with their advisor Prof. Igor Nazarkevych visited the Lviv National Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Franko (Franko’s House).
The excursion was organized with the aim of deepening the applicants’ knowledge about the life and creative path of the outstanding Ukrainian writer, poet, thinker and public figure Ivan Yakovych Franko (1856–1916).
The educational event included visiting memorial rooms and exhibition halls located in the house where Ivan Franko lived for the last 14 years of his life. The students had the opportunity to see original manuscripts, personal belongings, the writer’s library and household items that preserve the atmosphere of his life and work. The tour guides, as well as the accompaniment of Professor Nazarkevych I.B., provided in-depth professional commentary on the significance of Franko’s work and his multifaceted activities.
A visit to the Ivan Franko Museum became an important part of the educational process. For the students of the Franko University, it was a wonderful opportunity to go beyond classroom lectures and directly touch the heritage of Kamenyar.
A visit to the Ivan Franko Museum contributes to the formation of national-patriotic consciousness and a deeper awareness of the spiritual values of the Ukrainian people. Such events foster respect for historical heritage and stimulate young people to preserve national culture.
