Educational event “Our native word is a Ukrainian word”

The Ukrainian language is one of the main values ​​of our country, our pride and treasure. The Ukrainian language was repeatedly banned and attempts were made to eradicate it, and genocide was committed against its speakers. Language is a peaceful weapon that any enemy fears and that unites the Nation. Today, more than ever, the Ukrainian language protects us and preserves the strength of our invincible spirit.
In commemoration of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language on November 5, 2024, as part of national and patriotic education for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of the OP “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” (group UFF-31c), Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management D. V. Popovych held educational event on the topic “Our native word is a Ukrainian word”. As part of the event, the quest game “Native language, native word…” was held. The three stages of the quest included the tasks “the most native word”, “the most interesting and original word” and “the word of my region”.
The beauty and melodiousness of the Ukrainian language, its lexical richness, high expressive possibilities have always attracted attention. During the event, students were not only able to see the beauty and richness of their native language, but also learn new words that are used in different parts of our country.
