Edifying event «Ukraine – is worthy of freedom!» with students of the educational program «Finance, Customs and Taxation»

As part of the edifying work plan of the Department of Financial Management with students of the UFF-15s group (advisor – Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management Vira Kruhliakova) of the first (bachelor`s) level of education of the Higher Educational Institution «Finance, Customs and Taxation», an educational event was held on the topic «Ukraine is worthy of freedom!», timed to the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

In Ukraine, the Day of Dignity and Freedom is celebrated on November 21. The holiday was established in honor of two fateful events of our country: The Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013.

The purpose of this event was to form in the students a national consciousness, patriotic qualities and a sense of dignity, awareness of themselves as Ukrainians, a sense of personal responsibility for the fate of the state.

In view of this, during the meeting, the participants discussed the significant significance of this national holiday, which is manifested in national unity and the formation of identity, understanding the integrity of Ukraine.

Also, the applicants, together with the advisor, recalled the chronology of the events of The Revolution of Dignity and identified the main changes in society that it led to. In particular, the Revolution demonstrated to the world the importance of democratic values for the Ukrainian people and the desire for European integration.

At the end of the event, the participants noted the importance of remembering the events and Heroes, supporting the values of freedom and dignity.
