Development of entrepreneurial abilities of student youth

On October 22, at the invitation of the Department of Financial Management, a guest lecture by Anna Chuba, head of the Entrepreneurship Support Center of the Lviv City Council, was held for bachelor’s and master’s degree holders of the “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” and “Financial Management” educational programs.

The speaker presented the purpose of creation and tasks of the Center, the target audience and shared successful cases implemented by the Center. The flagship experience of the Center on the implementation of school social entrepreneurship aroused the special interest of student youth. Other important projects of the Center are support for veterans and clusters. Mrs. Anna also spoke in detail about “Molofactura” – the creation and support of youth entrepreneurship with a social component. At the end of the lecture, the speaker invited the students to follow the news and join the activities of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development, as well as shared insights on starting a business. Ms. Anna urged the meeting participants not to be afraid to try themselves as entrepreneurs, because despite the financial component, this is a great opportunity to improve soft skills, such as the ability to communicate, work in a team, overcome conflicts and present your ideas.
