Ivan Franko National University of Lviv continues to strengthen its status as a key hub for communication between academia and the business sector. The development of practice-oriented learning remains a strategic priority, ensuring high competitiveness for graduates and addressing the challenges of Ukraine’s future post-war reconstruction.

On March 2, 2026, the Faculty of Financial Management and Business hosted a landmark partnership meeting with representatives of the international network Nexia DK. The event was co-organized by the Department of Distance and Dual Education of the Quality Assurance Centre at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

The meeting focused primarily on building individual educational trajectories for future financial experts. Key speakers from Nexia DK – HR Manager Liubov Vovk and Marketing Manager Mariia Danylovych – presented students of the “Finance, Customs, and Taxation” program with opportunities to combine academic studies with professional employment.

The discussion highlighted several key areas:

  • Transformation of Educational Programs. The Department of Financial Management is working with Nexia DK experts to update curricula, enabling students to gain up-to-date knowledge in financial consulting and auditing more rapidly.
  • Soft Skills Development. Liubov Vovk discussed the company’s corporate culture and the essential skills students should cultivate during their university years for a successful career start.
  • Career Elevator. Students received internship offers from the audit firm, providing them with the chance to test their skills within real-world business processes.

“Dual education is not just about work; it is about the synergy of theory and practice. We strive for our students to become part of the professional community from their very first years of study,” noted the meeting participants.

This meeting marks another step toward deepening the University’s partnership with leading employers, opening doors for young talent into the modern business environment.
