Defense of a PhD Candidate of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management

The staff of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv congratulates Dmytro Pfister on the successful defense of his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 28 “Public Management and Administration”, specialty 281 “Public Management and Administration”.

The PhD candidate’s academic supervisor, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Borys Karpinskyi, noted that the chosen research topic, “Methods of Public Administration in Ensuring the Comprehensive Development of the Smart City System in Agglomeration Centers,” is highly relevant and important from the perspective of developing public administration systems, the digital transformation of communities, e-participation, and the implementation of modern management decision-making tools.

The Specialized Academic Council DF 35.051.393 (ID 15147) was established based on the decision of the Academic Council of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv dated June 23, 2026, protocol No. 8/6 (order dated June 24, 2026, No. 821) with the right to accept for consideration and conduct a one-time defense.
