Cooperation with stakeholders of OU “Personnel Management in public authorities and business structures”

On February 18, 2022, a working meeting was held with stakeholders of the Educational Program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures” and potential employers for graduates of this educational program.

Participants of the meeting: Halyna Kaplenko (Head of Department economics and public administration, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor), Yulia Tsymbala (Education lead, responsible for the work of the educational direction of Lviv IT Cluster), Oleg Leskiv (responsible for cooperation with Lviv IT Cluster within the framework of the ” Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”), Natalia Kuba (Head of the Department of Training and Development at SoftServe).

The meeting was devoted to the launch of a new direction of cooperation – mentoring work. Applicants of the second and third year of study (speciality 281 Public Management and Administration, EP “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”) within the framework of professional academic disciplines will master teamwork on projects. Higher education applicants choose the topics of projects independently – according to their own scientific interests or problems of scientific research for professional purposes. The mentors are representatives of Lviv IT Cluster and Halyna Kaplenko. The results of teamwork will be evaluated at the end of the semester by an independent jury.

What team projects can do:

  • Creating a development environment in the company. Plans for individual professional development (Professional Development Plan).
  • Global Virtual Teams – as an HR specialist to build effective global teams, GVT architecture.
  • How to effectively organize hybrid work (offline +online).
  • How the organization can switch to the DiiaCity format. Piloting Diia City in IT companies.
  • HR automation platforms. The transition from older to newer, more flexible platforms.
  • The mental well-being of employees. How to work with external stress due to the difficult situation in the country.
  • Formation of value proposals of recruiters for the employee.
