Cooperation of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management with key stakeholders

On February 26, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Lviv National University hosted a lecture by Iryna Pona, Chief Specialist of the Western Interregional Department of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NAUCS). The event was organized as part of the series of meetings “Public Service: Opportunities and Prospects”.

It is worth noting that Ivan Franko National University of Lviv was chosen to host this event among all higher education institutions of Lviv region, which emphasizes the high level of training and authority of the University in the field of public administration.

More than 80 first- and second-level students majoring in Public Administration and Management of the educational program Public Administration and Business Management had the opportunity to learn more about working in government agencies and local governments.

During the meeting, Ms. Iryna briefed the students on the NAUCS activities, told them about the work of civil servants, their mission and values. Particular attention was paid to the prospects of civil service, requirements for different categories of civil servants, internship opportunities in public authorities and further employment. Salaries and social benefits were also covered.

For two hours, students and faculty of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management actively interacted with the lecturer, receiving answers to all their questions.
