Associate Professors of the Department of Financial Management Attended the International Economic Forum
For two days, Lviv became the main platform for discussing the future of the Ukrainian economy – the foundation that allows our country to withstand the full-scale war. Olga Sych and Iryna Yasinovska, Associate Professors of the Department of Financial Management, participated in the International Economic Forum (June 26-27), which brought together leading politicians, diplomats, analysts, business representatives, and the public.
The forum’s discussions went far beyond purely commercial interests and covered today’s most pressing challenges. Specifically, these included the preservation of human capital – a topic that was the focus of three separate discussion panels. Participants emphasized that people are the very foundation for future economic growth and recovery.
Despite the war, international business continues to invest in Ukraine. The primary conditions for attracting capital remain trust, reliable and sustainable partnerships, and steady development.
Due to closed airspace and military operations, Ukrainian companies have had to completely rebuild their supply chains, redirecting exports and imports through European transport hubs.
The main requirements for modern housing are now safety (the presence of shelters), energy efficiency, an autonomous power supply, and developed infrastructure that meets all residents’ needs within the residential complex.
The participation of faculty members in events of this level is extremely important. It allows for the integration of the latest economic trends, real wartime business cases, and advanced analytical approaches into the educational process, ensuring high-quality training for future finance professionals.
