Myroslava Kozik, a student in the “Finance, Customs, and Taxation” vocational program at the Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Financial and Business Management (supervised by Associate Professor Daria Popovich) won third place in the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition on Insurance.

On April 21–22, 2026, Mykolaiv National Agrarian University hosted the final scientific and practical videoconference of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers on Insurance—a large-scale scientific event that brought together talented students from various higher education institutions across Ukraine.

The aim of the competition is to create conditions for the development of the intellectual potential of higher education students, support their research activities, foster innovative thinking in the field of insurance, and seek modern approaches to solving the pressing problems of Ukraine’s insurance market in today’s conditions. This year, special attention was paid to the challenges of wartime, financial stability, and the prospects for the development of the country’s insurance sector.

Myroslava Kozik presented a research paper titled: “Business Insurance in the Context of Military Challenges: Current Status and Directions for Development”. In her report, she highlighted current issues regarding the functioning of the insurance market under a wartime economy, analyzed the current state of business insurance in Ukraine, outlined key risks and challenges for the business environment, and proposed promising directions for the development of insurance mechanisms to ensure the financial stability of businesses in crisis conditions.

Participation in the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition is an important step in the professional development of young scholars, offering an opportunity to present the results of their own research, exchange experiences with representatives of the academic community, and contribute to shaping contemporary scientific discourse in the field of insurance.

We sincerely congratulate Myroslava Kozik on her outstanding representation of the University and wish her new scientific achievements, professional growth, inspiration, the realization of her creative potential, and continued success in her research activities!
