Oleg Zhuk was born on March 30, 1992.

In 2014, he graduated with honors from Lviv State Financial Academy with a degree in Finance and Credit and received a master’s degree in Finance and Credit.

From November 2014 to August 2015, he was a postgraduate student at the Department of Economic Theory of the Lviv State Financial Academy, specializing in 08.00.08 – Money, Finance and Credit.

From September 2015 to November 2017 – PhD student at the Department of Economic Theory, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, specialty 08.00.08 – Money, Finance and Credit.

From September 2017 to November 2017 – Assistant of the Department of State and Local Finance, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

From December 2017 to March 2018 – Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Economic Theory, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Since September 2, 2024, he has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Public Administration at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
