Опис курсу

The discipline “Technologies of Market Processes Analysis” is a elective discipline in the specialty C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations”, specialization C1.01 “Economics” for the educational program “Digital Economy”, which is taught in the 1st semester in the amount of 3 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The educational discipline “Technologies of Market Processes Analysis” is aimed at developing modern analytical competencies in master’s level applicants for research into the functioning and development of markets in the digital economy. The course examines methods of collecting, processing and interpreting market data, tools for analyzing supply and demand, the competitive environment, market conditions and the behavior of economic agents. Special attention is paid to the use of digital technologies, analytical platforms and software tools for modeling market processes.

 

The purpose of the academic discipline is to form in higher education students at the master’s level systemic knowledge and practical skills in applying modern methods and digital technologies for analyzing market processes to study the functioning of markets, assess the market situation, the competitive environment, and justify effective management decisions in the digital economy.

Objectives of the academic discipline:

– formation of skills in applying economic, statistical, econometric, and analytical methods for studying the market situation;

– acquisition of practical skills in collecting, processing, and visualizing market data using digital tools and analytical platforms;

– development of the ability to analyze demand, supply, price dynamics, and the competitive environment at the micro and macro levels;

– formation of skills in modeling market processes and forecasting their development in order to support management decisions;

– development of analytical thinking, professional communication, and interpretation of market analysis results in the context of digitalization.
