The subject of the academic discipline

The subject of the discipline “Technology of Market Process Analysis” is the study and application of modern analysis technologies to solve practical issues of market process research.

The purpose of the educational discipline

The goal of the discipline is the formation of a set of theoretical knowledge in students and the acquisition of practical analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative assessment of the functioning of various markets.

Main tasks

The tasks of the educational discipline are: to provide students with knowledge of the analysis of market processes, an understanding of the principles of formation of individual markets, the ability to investigate their functioning results.

The place of the educational discipline in the structural and logical scheme

The educational discipline is interconnected with such disciplines as “Economics of sustainable development”, “Microeconomic analysis”, “IT business strategies”, “Macroeconomic analysis”, “Measurement and evaluation tools of socio-economic processes”.

Requirements for knowledge and skills:

The study of the educational discipline “Technology of market process analysis” involves the achievement of such a qualification level of master’s training, for which he must:

a) know:

  • methods of analyzing trends and forecasting market conditions;
  • how to conduct market research and its typical structure;
  • online resources with information on the state of various markets;
  • methods of analyzing corruption risks, pricing in various markets;

b) be able to:

  • to plan research of market processes;
  • determine the current state, trends and prospects of market development;
  • apply various analytical and mathematical tools to analyze market processes;
  • collect information and select tools for analyzing market processes;
  • conduct research on consumer demand and preferences;
  • conduct a strategic analysis of corruption risks;
  • to compare the results of Ukraine in figures and facts according to various international indices that evaluate the development of the market economy.
