The discipline “Master’s Seminar” is a normative discipline in the specialty D 2 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” for the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation”, taught in the 2nd semester in the amount of 3 credits (according to the European Credit Transfer System ECTS).

The educational discipline “Master’s Seminar” is aimed at mastering theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to the functioning and development of the financial and credit system of Ukraine and its components.

The purpose of studying the discipline is to form a theoretical and methodological basis in the field of functioning of the financial and credit system of the state and the formation of mechanisms for improvement in terms of its links and sectors.

The objectives of studying the discipline are:

– clarification of the theoretical and methodological principles of the functioning of financial and credit systems;

– identifying the problems of the functioning of domestic banks and non-bank financial and credit institutions and ways to solve them;

– analyzing and assessing problematic aspects of the functioning of stock and other capital markets, determining the prospects for their development;

– identifying existing financial problems for households, business entities and developing measures to overcome them;

– substantiating priority areas and mechanisms for improving the state’s financial policy under martial law.
