Опис курсу

The “Investment Consulting” is an elective course for the “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market” specialty and the “Finance, Banking and Insurance” educational program. It is taught in the 1st semester and is a 4-credit course (ECTS).

The course is designed to provide students with knowledge of the substantive, organizational, informational, methodological, and technological aspects of investment consulting. It also aims to develop skills for conducting a comprehensive examination of investment projects, including their justification, planning, financing, and monitoring, which are core activities for an investment consultant.

The primary goal of this course is to develop modern economic thinking and a system of specialized knowledge in students. This includes understanding the conditions and factors for successful investment consulting, recognizing the approaches and methods for providing these services, and developing the abilities and skills necessary to prepare for and conduct investment consulting activities.

The main learning objectives are to:

  • Acquire knowledge of the key characteristics of consulting activities and the specific features of the consulting services market, particularly investment consulting.
  • Gain knowledge about the technology of consulting activities and the practical areas of an investment consultant’s work.
  • Master the skills for forming a consulting project and conducting a comprehensive analysis and justification of the economic feasibility of investing in real projects.
