Опис курсу

The “Investment Lending” is an elective course for the “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market” specialty within the “Finance, Banking and Insurance” educational program. It is taught in the 1st semester and is a 4-credit course (ECTS).

The course is designed to provide students with knowledge about the specific features of the investment lending process. This includes its organizational principles, various types of investment loans, and methods for managing associated risks.

The primary goal of this course is to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to make informed decisions about providing investment loans and minimizing credit risks within a bank.

The main learning objectives are to:

  • Acquire knowledge about how the investment lending process is organized in a bank.
  • Master the skills for analyzing the feasibility of lending to investment projects under conditions of uncertainty and risk.
  • Gain knowledge about the features of various types of investment lending.
