Опис курсу

The “Financial Asset Management” is a normative course for the “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” specialty within the “Finance, Banking and Insurance” educational program. It is taught in the 1st semester and is worth 3 credits (ECTS).

The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive set of approaches and tools for managing financial assets.

The primary goal of this discipline is to provide a system of theoretical knowledge regarding the management of financial assets for economic entities in modern conditions.

The main learning objectives are to:

  • Master the essence, classification, characteristics, features, and approaches to managing financial assets.
  • Study the theoretical foundations for the creation and functioning of professional financial market participants.
  • Examine the directions for forming a portfolio of financial assets.
  • Develop theoretical and practical skills in monitoring and assessing the risk of a financial asset portfolio.
  • Acquire skills in comprehensively assessing effectiveness and making management decisions in the field of financial asset management.
